Does evil exist?
Well, does it or not? A poem.
I wrote this poem sometime around 2014. While I don’t write a lot of verse, here’s a fun fact…I did jokingly create an account on a site called Hello Poetry called “Dad Poet Society.”
I enjoy the challenge of wordsmithing ideas into words, though usually in the form of essays. I got the inspiration for this particular topic after studying William Lane Craig’s moral argument for the existence of God. Add the tight constraints of meter and rhyme, plus a little philosophy and apologetics, and this is what came of it.
I find Craig to be one of the clearest thinkers in Christian apologetics. Some people find certain arguments for God more compelling than others, and the Moral Argument resonates with me. At the end of the poem, I will explain the argument in really simple terms.
If you want to go deeper, I highly recommend Craig’s four part podcast on the subject…
